The Sea Monkeys are dead.

When I came in this morning, not a one was swimming.  They're all laying on the bottom of the tank, dead.

I see this as a bad omen.  I ordered a newer, flashier sea monkey tank last week, but when it comes, I think I'm just going to keep it at home.

I'm really kinda bummed.

It must have been sweet, sweet love, cuz they were still at it this morning when I came in.

I just looked over and there are now 2 separate Sea Monkeys once again.

Phew.

Just the thought of it was making me tired.

I've been at work for almost 8 hours and that pair of Sea Monkeys is still at it.  Still stuck together swimming around in loops.  It's starting to trouble me.  Like maybe I should intervene and try to break it up.  They seem to agree on where they're going because they keep going, and their little flipper-leg-thingys are going in the same ( Read more... )

This morning there are a lot more Sea Monkeys in my tank than there were when I left on Friday.  In fact two are joined and have been swimming like that since I got in.

I guess I can expect more soon.

The Sea Monkeys are doing well.  After an initial batch of about 6-8, two survived and have grown to about.25 inch.  They swim around in loop-d-loops and have become a nice source of relaxation at the office.  They're just nice to watch.  One more is catching up in size, about 1/8 of an inch and this morning, I'm noticing several little ones (not ( Read more... )

The February issue of National Geographic Magazine has a really interesting map on page 22.  Blue and yellow dots are scattered over a map of the US.  Blue represents single men and yellow, single women and the bigger the dot over each area, the bigger population discrepency in the number of men or women representatively.  According to the map, ( Read more... )
